Why Saintly Sisters Exists

A little bit about our "why" 🧸

Our Story

Hi, I'm Leah, a 22 year old cradle Catholic from Toronto. I returned to the faith after experiencing conversion in high school, and honestly, my journey back has been a rollercoaster ever since.

Without Catholic girls around to hold me accountable, my secular friendships kept pulling me back, slowing my walk with God more than I'd like to admit. If you've ever felt that same pull, the friend group that doesn't get why you're even trying, you already know exactly what I mean.

It wasn't until I actually invested in building those friendships, with Catholic girls across different dioceses, different communities, my university, my home parish, girls I met through my internships and travelling, that anything really changed. My faith got so much deeper once I had girls in my corner who gave me holy advice instead of the revenge-fueled kind, who noticed when I was drifting and pulled me back, and who I got to pray over just as much as they prayed over me.

Saintly Sisters is my answer. A space built just for us, where we grow into the Proverbs 31 kind of woman: clothed in strength and dignity, wise with her words, faithful in the small things, the kind of woman whose life quietly points people back to God. We get there the same way every time: surrounding ourselves with the right women, in intentional community, growing our faith TOGETHER, and holding each other accountable.

This was never just my story. So many of you have reached out wanting exactly this. That told me it was never a "me" thing. It's a "we" thing.

The mission keeps growing: every girl applying to lead a chapter, every girl who walks into an event. This was never something you just watch from the outside. You're already on the team. 🌟

Saintly Sisters was built on 3 pillars:

Sisterhood

We build real friendships in real rooms, the kind that get you without explaining, so no girl walks her faith alone.

Service

We show up for our community every month, serving a real cause while having fun.

Sanctification

We help each other discover our vocation and deepen our walk with God, holding one another accountable along the way.
